The recent changes in higher education system, has led to a tremendous growth in the mission, services and facilities of health centres at educational institutions. The demands on health centres are greater and more complex than ever. Health centre also get involved in ensuring campus safety. More students today come to the campus with significant health issues including mental health challenges. The purpose of health centre is to provide health care, illness, health information.

Health services provide an environment where the student feels safe, healthy, and successful academically, which fosters a satisfied and committed student.

As ours is a women’s college much importance is being given to their adolescent problems. The students are counselled according to their socio-economic and culturing background helping them to find solutions for adult health challenges and other health issues of adulthood.

A well equipped health centre is established in the hostel building on 12/07/2016 and it is inaugurated by the JSS hospital medical superintendent     Dr Manjunath T P since then functioning by regular visits of medical practitioners.
