Sanskrit of the department

Sanskrit is a repository of unlimited invaluable knowledge of
Ancient Indian Heritage. The main aim of the department is
enrichment of personality of the students. Literature specially
build the morality of the students. Our prime vision is to make
a good citizen and well educated person for our society.

" ज्ञानादेव तु कैवल्यम् " : “Liberation through knowledge”

Objectives:

* To make students familiar with Sanskrit – The Mother of all
Indian Languages.

* To help Students become self reliant and emotionally
mature.

* To make them good citizens, great human beings in the
society.

Department Activities:

• Special Lecture on “ Abhignanashakuntala” by Gurumalladevarau On 04 /04/ 2017  .
• Special Lecture on “Samskrutena Samskruti” by Dr, Anantanagendrabhatṭ .
• Celebrated Sanskrit Day ‘ Samskrutotsava’ on 09/07/2017 invited Dr.B.S Gururaj Rao.
• Essay , Crossword puzzle ,Debate ,Handwriting , Quiz , Pick & Speak , Recitation Competitions  are  held . Prizes were distributed  to  the  students .
• Spoken Sanskrit Class  are  Valedictory   function  was  organized . Students  played  Sanskrit  skit   &  Drama.
